1. Who We Are & Scope

This Privacy Policy explains how Horizon Structures LLC (“we,” “us,” or “our”), operator of Barn Lender at barnlender.com (the “Site”), collects, uses, and shares information about you when you use the Site, check your eligibility, or submit a financing pre-qualification.

We help connect customers seeking financing for barns, garages, sheds, and other structures with third-party lending partners. We are not a lender.

2. Information We Collect

Information you provide

Depending on which tools you use, you may provide:

Sensitive application details (such as your Social Security number, date of birth, and income) are collected for the purpose of processing your pre-qualification with the lender and are transmitted over an encrypted connection. See Section 5.

Information collected automatically

Like most websites, we (and our service providers) may collect limited technical data such as IP address, browser type, device type, pages viewed, and referring URLs. See Section 9.

3. How We Use Your Information

We do not sell your personal information for money. See Section 7 regarding state-law definitions of “sale” and “sharing.”

4. How We Share Your Information

5. How We Protect Your Information

All information you submit is transmitted over an encrypted connection (HTTPS/TLS). Sensitive application fields are stored in encrypted form with access restricted to authorized personnel who need the information to process your request.

No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. You provide information at your own risk and are responsible for keeping your own devices and accounts secure.

To protect our forms from spam and automated abuse, we use Cloudflare Turnstile. Turnstile may collect certain device, browser, and usage information to confirm that submissions come from a real person. This processing is governed by the Cloudflare Turnstile Privacy Addendum and the Cloudflare Privacy Policy.

6. Data Retention

We retain the information you submit for as long as needed to facilitate your financing request, to meet record-retention obligations that apply to consumer credit requests, and as otherwise required by law, after which it is deleted or de-identified.

7. Your Privacy Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to: access the personal information we hold about you; request correction or deletion; opt out of certain processing, “sales,” or “sharing”; and not be discriminated against for exercising these rights. Residents of California (CCPA/CPRA), Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, Utah, and other states with privacy laws may have specific rights.

To make a request, contact us using Section 13. We will verify your identity before responding. You may use an authorized agent where the law permits.

California “Shine the Light”: California residents may request information about disclosures of personal information to third parties for their direct marketing purposes.

8. Financial Privacy (GLBA)

Because we facilitate consumer financing, information you provide in connection with a financing request may be “nonpublic personal information” under the federal Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act (GLBA). We restrict access to this information to those who need it to provide our services and maintain safeguards designed to protect it. Please see our GLBA Privacy Notice for details about what we collect, what we share, and your rights to limit sharing.

9. Cookies & Tracking

The Site may use cookies or similar technologies for essential functionality and, if enabled, analytics. You can control cookies through your browser settings; disabling them may affect some features.

10. Children’s Privacy

The Site is intended for adults 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has provided information, contact us and we will delete it.

11. Third-Party Links

The Site may link to third-party websites, including lenders. We are not responsible for the privacy practices or content of those sites. Review their policies before providing information.

12. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date above reflects the most recent changes. Material changes will be posted on this page.
